Hands-On Demo with the NMS Physiome Team at ISB

The OpenSim team and the Instituto Ortopedico Rizzoli will give a hands-on demonstration of the NMS Physiome Builder and OpenSim at the ISB Congress in Brussels, Belgium

Curious about building and simulating personalized neuromuscoskeletal models? Attend the NMS Physiome Hands-On Workshop on July the 6th, 2011, 15:45-17:45pm. The workshop will take place in Room A at the International Society of Biomechanics Congress (3rd/7th of July 2011), in Brussels.

The NMS Physiome Hands-On Workshop has been organized by the Project Coordinator, Istituto Ortopedico Rizzoli in synergy with its American partner, Stanford University. The interactive workshop will include hands-on exercises and demonstrations on both:

NMS Physiome Builder, the recently developed software which makes it possible to create and simulate personalised musculoskeletal models, managing all types of clinical data and data pre-processing.

OpenSim, a freely-available software package that enables advanced modeling and simulation of human and animal movement. The package provides tools for inverse dynamics and forward dynamic simulations, as well as analysis of musculoskeletal models. A Matlab Simulink interface demo will be also presented.

If you wish to participate, install the latest versions of the software and bring your laptop to Room A, ULB/VUB Campus - 1 Boulevard du Triomphe / Triomflaan1 - B-1050 Brussels.
