Workshop at EMBC: Developing the Virtual Physiological Human

Pilot project winners from the University of Auckland will participate in a workshop at EMBC in Osaka, Japan.

Thor Besier and colleagues received a pilot award from the NCSRR to develop the Musculoskeletal Atlas Project (MAP) client for segmenting and meshing medical imaging data to generate computational models of the musculoskeletal system. In the future, these models will be directly integrated with the OpenSim software.

At the workshop, developer Hugh Sorby will present the first phase of features of the MAP client, including the links to the Physiome Model Repository and the ability to write user plugins in Python.
