OpenSim Workshop at the Summer School on Neurorehabilitation

Massimo Sartori and Monica Reggiani are leading a workshop, "Musculoskeletal Modeling and Simulation of Human Movement in OpenSim" at the Summer School in Neurorehabilitation in Valencia, Spain.

Title: Musculoskeletal Modeling and Simulation of Human Movement in OpenSim
Organizers: Massimo Sartori (University Medical Center Gottingen, Germany) and Monica Reggiani (University of Padova, Italy)
Venue: Summer School on Neurorehabilitation, September 13-18, 2015, Valencia, Spain
Website: http://www.ssnr2015.org/en/

Description: This three-day hands-on workshop will introduce participants to the theory behind modeling and simulation of human musculoskeletal function in OpenSim, along with the framework of the software architecture and functionalities. Participants will learn to create subject-specific musculoskeletal models and derive the underlying muscle dynamics using inverse and forward dynamics approaches. The workshop will teach how to use the OpenSim's graphical user interface and how to access the underlying Opensim API through MATLAB.
