Introductory OpenSim Tutorial at SOFAMEA and SB meeting 2017
An OpenSim workshop will be held at the Institut de Biomecanique Humaine Georges Charpak, Paris, October 19, 2017. The event is organized by SOFAMEA (Société Francophone d'Analyse du Mouvement chez l'Enfant et l'Adulte) and SB (Société de Biomécanique). During this workshop OpenSim Fellow Luca Modenese (University of Sheffield), along with colleague Clement Favier (Imperial College London), will deliver short introductions and demonstrate some capabilities of OpenSim, with a special focus towards applications in human movement.
WORKSHOP AGENDA
The workshop will consist of a hands-on tutorial developed from data collected on a patient with total knee replacement (https://simtk.org/projects/kneeloads). Participants will be guided through some steps of the OpenSim workflow, including:- Data import
- Model marker set preparation
- Model scaling
- Inverse kinematics
- Muscle analysis
The workshop will close with participants receiving assistance on individual projects.
